A Note from Lorretta

Strings of Mercy continues to provide funding for Certified Music Practitioners to play Live Therapeutic Music (LTM) for patients around metro Atlanta. Here is a note I recently received from one of our CMPs, Loretta, who serves patients in Forsyth County.

“Yesterday I served at Northside Hospital-Forsyth and it was such a rewarding day for me! At times I wanted to pinch myself as I witnessed the magic of the music providing physical pain relief for some, a safe place to grieve for some and joy for others. I am so blessed to be able to bring live therapeutic music to patients, patients loved ones and the staff.”

This story is only possible because of your generous support of Strings of Mercy and we are all very thankful of your partnership.

In addition to serving at Northside Hospital Forsyth and Agape Hospice, I am super excited to announce that Strings of Mercy will begin providing LTM at Gwinnett Medical Center next week. I will be working with the Palliative Care team and with patients in the ICU, Neuroscience ICU and the Cardiac / Vascular ICU. Super grateful for the Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation to provide this initial funding!!!

For all of those who have helped us along the way, we say “Thank You!” We could not do this work without your prayers and support.
